Joanna's Skincare Travel Tips

We are all super excited to leave our houses and start traveling again! It’s been a while now since we have been able to travel far. Searching for flights and destinations was starting to become a hobby - but now that hobby is becoming a reality. We are here to get you ready for your summer getaways and to keep your skin looking fresh. Here are a few travel tips to get you ready for exploring the world!

  1. Hydrate on the go with a sheet mask! Travel hack = always pack a sheet mask. Our pick for summer is Twilight – it hydrates while reducing the look of redness caused by dry airplane air or too much time in the sun.

  1. An effortless serum – Eden Rejuvenating Pro Serum sinks in with zero oiliness or weight. It’s perfect under sunscreen. Serums are highly concentrated oil or gel formulas. With a multitude of wonderful skin-boosting, replenishing, and nourishing ingredients from vitamin C to argan oil to retinol, serums can moisturize, fight the signs of aging, provide antioxidants, boost collagen, restore skin balance, make the skin more resilient, improve radiance and texture, and much much more. Our Eden Rejuvenating Pro Serum plumps your skin on contact, visibly improves radiance and minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This serum helps with the full spectrum signs of aging.

  1. Dry Brush for full-body exfoliation! Instead of packing a big, heavy jar of body scrub, pop the head off my Ritual Brush and dry brush daily while traveling. You’ll exfoliate your whole body without any mess. From reducing dead skin cells to helping with the appearance of skin and supporting digestion, dry brushing the skin once a day can have major benefits on your overall skin health. At its core, dry brushing aids in stimulating the lymphatic system (the network of tissue and organs responsible for collecting and transporting waste and toxins from the body), helping to increase blood flow throughout the body. With an increase of blood flow comes an increase in the plumpness of the skin, minimizing the appearance of cellulite and other lumps and bumps you might be concerned about. Additionally, brushing the skin while it’s dry allows the skin to be exfoliated without robbing it of moisture, as the hot water in the shower can do.

Remember to follow all safety precautions when traveling, and enjoy your glow on-the-go!
