Winterize your skincare routine
Say hello to the busiest time of the year and cold, winter air causing havoc on your skin. We chatted with Master Esthetician Asia Fadlon from our LA salon on how to travel in style with glowing skin.
Q: Whats the best way to keep skin from getting dry and flakey?
A: For dry skin, oils are your best bet. I always recommend layering serums in your morning and night routines. Apply our water-based Daily Serum then our oil-based Rejuvenating Serum to help tackle both dryness and dehydration at once.
Q: What is the best in-flight facial?
A: Masking with our Glow To Go Set which includes 4 full face sheet masks and an eye mask. I like to use the Dawn Mask on an airplane to keep the pores clean and to help refresh the skin for the duration of the flight. For a long haul flight, our Twilight Mask provides a fresh and revitalized appearance. I like to follow one of the face masks with our Bright Eye Hydrating Mask to help soothe and detoxify the eye area right before stepping off the plane.
Q: Which facial or body treatment is best for winter skin?
A: My favorite facial treatment in the winter is the Super Nova Facial. Its an all-in-one anti-aging facial with nourishing and hydrating benefits. With the cryotherapy technology in the facial you receive added immune benefits to fight the winter coldness. For dry skin on the body, the Double Happiness is an amazing treatment that includes a full body microdermabrasion to help slough away dead dry skin followed by a vitamin-packed full body oxygen treatment to leave skin with a silky smooth, hydrated and glowing appearance! I always recommend these treatments before a holiday event or traveling.
