Pro Fall Weather Skincare Tips

1. As we move into fall and cooler temps, how should we handle maskne any differently? We should think a lot about hydrating the surface of the skin underneath the mask. Dry skin is a common skin problem when wearing masks. I suggest clients wear an antioxidant Vitamin C serum and a good moisturizer over it. I love the Rescue Serum followed by Daily Hydrating Cream. Also, no matter the temperature, masks must be changed everyday to prevent maskne! A good retinol at night will help turn over skin cells and revitalize skin while the face breathes during sleep. Our Supernova Serum is my go to for all skin types!
2. Any tips for combatting dull skin this season? My biggest tips are to make sure the skin is hydrated and lightly exfoliated. I love using the Exfoliating Mask 1-2 times a week and our sheet masks at least once week. It is equally important not to over exfoliate as we see dry skin. Our sheet masks are great to keep the skin’s barrier in good shape, which keeps it hydrated. Also, now is the time to get good fats into the diet like avocados.
3. What are the most common skin concerns among your celebrity clients, and how do you solve them? Celebrities maintain a good skin routine with regular treatments, but worry how to keep the results going at home and while working on location. We treat all layers of the skin in the spa, and they work hard to keep an A-game at home routine with at-home products for all scenarios. For example, an unwanted pimple appears- they are prepared to handle it quickly with our Exfoliating Mask and a little cold therapy from the Magic Glow Wand. For puffy eyes, our eye masks are must-have!
4. What are you most excited to do, skincare wise, this fall? I’m so exited to do both our Clear & Brilliant laser treatment and Twilight Facial. The results are simply amazing for both of these and they are non-invasive. In fall, clients always regroup to get a revised skincare plan, and these treatments compliment our fan-favorite Micro-current and Radio Frequency services so much!
