Why Do You Have Oily Skin

Oily skin can be humiliating to a person suffering from it and if you are one of the many people affected by it I can understand your frustration in the endless search for an answer.

Although you might not think so, there is a silver lining to oily skin. YOU are going to age the best.

I mention this to concentrate your attention on something positive. Many studies show that doing so improves your health and a healthy body always has healthy skin.

If you are one of the people that have tried everything and believe nothing works all I got to say is that I have been there and I feel your pain.

At the beginning of my career I encountered many set backs and failures in trying to help people with this condition. And with trial and error I have figured out some basic things that you must do in order to either manage or handle oily skin.

Why Do You Have Oily Skin?

People with oily skin tend to do everything they can to control it. Usually doing too much and causing the body to over produce oil, exacerbating the situation.

Although, this is a common answer with many estheticians and dermatologists, some people still don’t see the results they are looking for.

There can be other causes which have never been looked at. According to some dermatologist, hereditary, birth control pills, diet, cosmetics, hormone levels, pregnancy, and the weather, all factor into the way your skin behaves.

They also state, and I also agree, that you can do the below steps daily to control, manage or get rid of oily skin.

Use a mild face wash and no more than twice a day. Over doing this step will cause oily skin.

Implement a healthy diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and NO processed foods.

Drink plenty of water.

Don’t smoke.

Regularly brush and massage the body to improve circulation. I recommend dry brushing every day as this helps to detoxify your skin and improves your lymphatic system.

Get sufficient sleep for proper cell regeneration.

Exercise regularly as this increases circulation and brings vital nutrients to the skin more readily.
