Jump-Start Your Bridal Beauty Routine For Glowing Skin
The secret to ulta-radiant, healthy glowing skin on your wedding day is that you need to start early enough to make some serious changes. I hate the use the phrase “skincare and beauty routine” because by now its cliche but this is exactly what you need to do. Everyone wants to look like the most beautiful version of themselves on their wedding day, of course. And what better way to do that than planning out a beauty routine in the months leading up to your wedding day? You can equally go crazy with all the steps you want to do but this is not the point. Teeth whitening, a healthier diet, exercise, facials and massage all can be part of getting ready, but do you really need to do all of those things? Unfortunately only you can answer this question. Here are some suggestions on what to do to prep for your big day.

Here’s the Secret to a Pretty, Natural Wedding-Day Flush
For that blushing bride look.
If it seems like your skin always looks better after a workout, that’s because it does: Exercise helps get your blood flowing, and peak circulation is the key to a healthy glow. “For your skin, increased circulation means that nutrients and oxygen are reaching your cells; it’s directly related to how good your skin looks,” says Joanna Vargas, celebrity facialist and founder of Joanna Vargas Salon and skincare collection. “Any time circulation is boosted, it creates healthier tissue, oxygen is brought in, and waste is carried away better and faster.” But for the bride-to-be who’s after a youthful flush on her wedding day, there’s not always time for blood-pumping workout before the ceremony.
Luckily, excercise isn’t the only way to get a great natural glow. What you put on your skin can also help stimulate circulation. Vargas says neroli oil is one of the best ingredients for oxygenating the skin. Try Kerstin Florian Organic Rehydrating Neroli Facial Oil, or Joanna Vargas’ Rejuvenating Serum, which also contains rosehip oil, another ingredient that works wonders to boost blood flow.
Drinking green tea and applying products with seaweed also helps. (“Seaweed is one ingredient that’s been a favorite in skincare for years,” she says.) Try Repechage C-Serum Seaweed Filtrate. How you apply your serums can also make a difference; Vargas says “applying products in an upward motion brings nutrients to the skin, which will make it look healthy and vibrant.”
Last but not least, if you want an extra boost before your wedding, head to your facialist or dermatologist for a microcurrent or oxygen facial: “Microcurrents are like going to the gym for your face,” Vargas says. “They increase lymphatic circulation and tighten. According to studies, they increase blood circulation by 38 percent.”
