Foods For Flawless Skin

I’m no different than you when it comes to skincare- all I want is flawless skin. I know for me and for a lot of you, I feel best when I’m happiest with how my skin looks.

Here are some foods or supplements I promise to share on my last newsletter. They can help you clear up acne or keep your skin from aging. These are some of the raw materials for flawless skin.

The foods mentioned here can repair damaged skin and together with a skincare routine, they will boost the results you get.

I love Avocados so they are first on my list of foods that should be eaten on a regular basis for healthy skin. They are a treasure trove of vitamins and minerals.

Vitamins A and E are well known for their benefit of younger looking skin. You will also find vitamin C and pantothenic acid. Both are antioxidants but Pantothenic acid or B5 helps breakdown carbohydrates, proteins and fats, turning them into energy for the body. Plus avocados have protein not usually found in fruit and no cholesterol, of course.

A great alternative to fish for its omega 3s are walnuts.
If you are allergic to fish or pregnant and fear mercury contamination, then walnuts are a great source of omega 3, essential fatty acids.

Omega 3 in studies have been known to eliminate wrinkles and improve the firmness of the skin. They are also an anti-inflammatory and therefore can reduce redness and puffiness of acne lesions. It will improve your skin texture by increasing hydration within the skin cell and it lowers sebum production, clearing your skin. You can also take it as a supplement.

Additionally it can alleviate skin disorders like eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

Sure we have all been told to eat our vegetables and even at this stage of the game some of us don’t eat enough of them. Eating a variety of vegetables and fruits can supply many different types of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, benefiting you with GREAT looking skin.


Make WATER your primary drink and you’ll be drinking a no calorie, no chemical drink all day long. Water helps to eliminate waste from your body and transport nutrients to different areas of the body as well as keeping your skin hydrated.

But remember, drink twice the amount of water before bed when you have been drinking- it will save you the headache in the morning and will replenish your body.
