What's Bad About Whole Grains?
According to celebrity nutritional expert, Lisa De Fazio, not all brown carbs or wheat based carbs are good for you.
Unfortunately, wheat bread can still be made from processed wheat that's stripped of it's nutrients. Knowing how to read your ingredients list in your labels can help you make the right choice.
For example, ingredients like "wheat flour" and "enriched wheat flour" are no different than white flour. Furthermore, wheat flour and unbleached wheat flour are NOT technically whole grains.
